Create revenue-generating AI in a day

Update:

I’ve found my new rhythm for working Italy, mixing time with friends and family and time at the kitchen table. It’s amazing how productive you can be when the sun is out and the beach is 5 minutes away.

Of course, we get into a new routine and it’s time to return to Scotland for a week in the rain 🤣.

These last 3.5 weeks have really cemented that flexible working when you run a business really is possible and just how much pressure and routine has been self-inflicted. This has just compounded the feeling of a big life move in the works - it really feels like Italy is calling our name (literally).

What’s been working: there’s not a lot of options for workouts and gyms in our town so I’m back in the flow with at-home pilates classes. This month I joined the Transform 6 challenge with Bryony Basse and the accountability WhatsApp group has been a game-changer for getting me to actually show up - no one wants to be the one that doesn’t check in and say they completed their workout!

What I’ve been listening to: Susan Yara, founder of beauty brand Naturium sharing all the behind the scenes of selling her business to e.l.f cosmetics for $355m after just 3 years on HSR. The key golden nugget take away for me was when Yara explained that although the growth of the company might have appeared to be stratospheric, it was the result of 11 years building her personal brand and establishing herself as a thought-leader in the beauty space on YouTube that meant she had unrivalled access to customers, feedback and depth of product-knowledge.

Build revenue-generating AI in a day

It’s no secret I use AI every day - right across my businesses - to create serious leverage.

It’s the reason I’m writing this from a sunny kitchen table in Italy, with AI assistants running a whole new business for me that has generated over £25,000 in revenue since it launched to beta testers last month.

And the one question I get asked constantly is:

"But how exactly are you doing it?"

So this week over on Espresso AI I’m opening the doors to a brand new one-off implementation session on how to build and deploy revenue-generating AI in one day.

This isn’t a course or theory and it’s not a repetition of anything else I have done. This is a live do-with-me session where we build an AI assistant that delivers work and generates revenue.

By the end of the session, you’ll have your own trained, deployed AI assistant that actually does work in your business.

No fluff. No theory.

The session is on Thursday 19th June for £67 with limited spaces and replay available.

What I’ve learnt posting 3-5x a day on Instagram

I’m finally getting over my fear of Instagram and really trying to grow on that platform with Espresso AI content.

ICYMI, I’m on a mission to reach 5,000,000 women and give them access to AI education and resources to close the AI literacy gap.

In 2024 133% more men than women accessed AI educational content and resources.

Whilst I am absolutely all for everyone using generative AI tools, I don’t want women to get left behind.

I’ve spent the last 10 years working as an investor in early stage start ups and technology - another heavily male dominated industry.

As an investor you have a front row seat to technological advances and my job is to spot gaps in markets and make early bets on businesses that will dominate that sector. I’m betting BIG on AI and I believe it’s such an exciting opportunity for everyone as it completely revolutionises how we all live, work and play.

It’s the closest we’ve ever been as women to having a level playing field with the opportunity to create real scale, wealth and impact.

You know I love TikTok, but the algorithm on that platform is so powerful that I think sometimes it can create a vacuum of content - where only people who are already searching for and engaging in AI content, see my videos.

So I need another channel and I can’t afford to sleep on Instagram with such an important mission.

In an effort to throw everything I have at this, I’ve committed to posting 3-5x a day on Instagram.

I know, I know. This is crazy and upping your volume isn’t a strategy BUT here me out.

My plan is to flood my new channel with content for a few reasons:

  1. To improve and get over my irrational fear of instagram (I hate reels, I hate trending audio, but I do love stories!)

  2. To learn - the only way to quickly learn what works and what doesn’t is to post more and get data faster.

  3. To make it a habit. I’m in the habit of creating for TikTok and I need to train my brain to make a habit of Instagram.

I might have only been consistent since Tuesday (if that isn’t ADHD coded I don’t know what is) but here’s what I have learnt:

  1. Getting very little reach and engagement is soul destroying so instead I’m getting my dopamine from highlighting a box on a grid I’ve printed of 100 boxes. My measure of success is colouring the boxes by creating and posting content (and as a result learning).

  2. Repurposing is the key to volume - I used to be obsessed with new content and thinking I needed to reinvent the wheel every time, instead I have trained an AI assistant (of course I have) to repurpose content 5 different ways and create repetitive flywheels of the same key messages. It’s massively helped.

  3. I’m planning my feed and content on Canva with a visual calendar instead of just text only. I’ve made all the covers for my posts and reels on Canva in line with my calendar in notion. This way I can see what is coming up and how it is going to look, not just text on a page. I also find this stops second-guessing my posts and waking up thinking I don’t feel like creating that today. It’s already done and I can see how it looks.

If you don’t already follow @thisisespressoai on Instagram and want to show me some love and support it would be very much appreciated!

Have a great week ahead & remember to keep it simple.
